    Quicksilver Deposits near the Little Missouri River, Pike County, Arkansas
    .” Published in 1942, there can't be many of these around. It consists of a 31-page book AND ALL THIRTEEN OF THE ORIGINAL MAPS, all in excellent condition. Two of the maps are in a pocket in the back and the rest are fold-out maps within the book. Mercury was discovered in this area in 1931 and the mines that were developed produced as much as three percent of US production of mercury at the time! This publication provides a complete treatment on the geology and mines of the area. Several of the maps are of specific mines and prospects.
