This beautiful emerald came from the Muzo mines in Columbia and was cut there as well. It has some minor oil on it but that is pretty standard in the emerald trade. You want no oil or minor oil on your stones. The face up cut on this one is excellent and looks wonderful. The back, not so much. That does not detract from the beauty of this stone at all. This would make any ring or pendant stand out and scream, LOOK AT ME!
You can buy a stone from one of those guys that are selling them for just a few dollars and end up with glass or you can invest in the real deal here for a fraction of what you would pay at any jeweler. If you take this stone to any certified gemologist and they say that this is NOT an emerald, I will pay for the certificate and give you your money back. Just send the stone and bill to me. It must be a certified gemologist and not some fly by night jeweler or a jeweler that does not have a gemology certification. No questions asked! I stand behind my stones.
