    Description

This is a very large poster, measuring 60 x 22 inches, and was designed to be cut out and mounted some how that I am not sure of.  Fortunately this poster survived in uncut condition which is likely very rare.  It was rolled up in a tube that came from the Movieland Wax Museum in California so I assume it was part of that collection at one point.  It is issued by the Army Map Service in Washington, DC in 1943.  This is sheet 2 of 2, the first sheet I am guessing is probably a uniformed soldier with no insignia, of which you were to cut out these insignia and place them on the soldier for instructional purposes.  It should be noted that a section states "Additional copies of this chart can be secured from the Adjutant General, Distribution Section, Pentagon Building, Washington D. C." so I would presume that this was not a widely distributed item.
The poster is rolled so will be put back in the tube and shipped in this manner.
