    Description

    For sale are three berry bowls from J & G Meakin in the Romantic England pattern. The three scallop-edge saucers feature a red transferware scene Willy Lotts Cottage, famous as the subject of British landscape painter John Constable. The bowls measures approximately 4 3/8" across the top and stand 1 1/4" high.
    All three pieces are in very good condition without damage and light shelf wear on the bottom. The graphics are bright and clean and the borders, with many dark areas, are well done although all pieces display a few drops of wayward ink. Made in England.
