Handmade Puukko fixed blade knife
Knife plant in Rovaniemi was opened in 1924 and burned in 1945. So knife must have been made somewhere between.
6" total length
3" blade length
There are a couple light chips on the rear of the blade on the cut edge. I am going to leave them alone.
7" total length when in sheath. Measured from top of handle to bottom of sheath
Reindeer antler handle
In my opinion this knife is in beautiful condition. Obviously i am no knife expert but i compared to several other Lauri knives that are of the same make and their handles are discolored and blades are darkened and stained. You may be of different opinion.
Sheath is also in excellent condition.
It is covered on outside (see pic) with hair
Hair on sheath face. Possibly Reindeer hair.
