    Description

A complete Aircraft Carrier Escort USS Copahee ACV 12 Auxiliary Bogue class Ship Booklet of General Plans Blueprints Puget Sound Navy Yard ZD3
This is the original plans of the Copahee.  An amazing historical document showing the dimensions, decks, and profiles of this incredible, massive aircraft carrier. She was an integral part in assisting in WWII.  A great piece to add to any military, Naval, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Army, Maritime, or even engineer collection.
The Copahee carried marine fighter planes, personnel, and passengers to help support the war. On 28 July 1944, she returned to San Diego, California with a load of captured Japanese planes (13 Mitsubishi A6M Zeros and 1 Nakajima B5N "Kate") and equipment (37 engines) to be used for intelligence and training purposes. (pulled form Wikipedia) After training at Pearl Harbor,
    Copahee
sailed from San Diego 25 February 1943 to begin transport duty carrying aircraft, aviation stores and personnel to the forward bases until 1943.
    Copahee
received one battle star for World War II service. She was decommissioned and placed in reserve at Tacoma, Washington, 5 July 1946.
